The new Copper Mine is based on one of our all-time best sellers and we’ve upgraded the look by adding copper spots and copper cross conchos. It’s uses our most popular Flex2® trail tree which has a 4″ cantle and 13″ wide swell to provide a moderate seat, the standard in all-day comfort.
Flex2® saddles are designed to include comfort features for both the horse and rider that work in synergy with the Flex2® tree. Only Circle Y has the exclusive Flex2® tree design which uses a rigid ground seat for rider support, a high density bar which disperses rider weight, and low density bar which is against the horse and provides give for freedom of movement. This results in a lightweight saddle that’s an option for riders of all sizes and is proven to fit a wide variety of horses. The Flex2® tree will never get wider over time, flex in half, or overflex to create pressure points if properly fitted. Give yourself and your horse the lightweight comfort you’ve been craving!

My first brand new saddle and glad I went with Circle Y. The leather is well oiled and supple. I purchased from a local tack store at the same price online and then road in it 6 hours a day for 4 days in a row on tough mountain terrain. The saddle held up great, I was comfortable and my horse was not sore. Love it!

I finally bought a brand new saddle for the first time in my life. I’ve had saddles that fit my horses but not me, and I’ve had saddles that fit me but not my horses. My favorite horse was worth a good fit, as was I, so I purchased this beautiful Circle Y Copper Mine Flex 2 in the dark color 15″ seat. My mare loves it, and so do I. I can’t believe how long I suffered with other saddles. The leather is so flexible, my ankles and knees never hurt from stirrups turning in. It feels like a custom fit for both of us each time I ride. On top of it all, it is absolutely stunning!!
Circle Y has designed this 3/4″ thick wool felt pad with coordinating wear leathers to fit any Circle Y saddle. Wool felt is the preferred material for pads because it naturally absorbs shock and wicks away moisture keeping your horse cool and comfortable. 32″ drop.
The PEAK Performance™ saddle line is designed and ridden by Julie Goodnight. She is a trainer, clinician, host of the TV show Horse Master with Julie Goodnight, and she’s on the Advisory Board of the Western Dressage Association of America. Drawing from her varied background in English and Western riding and her strong upbringing in classical riding, Goodnight recognizes that regardless of discipline a balanced position for the rider and fit for the horse are fundamental. Goodnight’s saddles provide a correct seat, narrow twist, close contact feel, and absolute comfort for both horse and rider to make them the perfect multi-use performance saddles. Equally suitable for the arena, show ring, or on the trail, the Peak Performance™ saddles are great for trail riding, reining, cow work, and Western Dressage.
Ideal for arena performance, trail riding and Western Dressage, it’s a great choice to meet a budget with all the essentials of the Wind River minus a few extra features. With the Flex2® tree technology, it conforms to the horse’s back while providing rider weight distribution and is light weight. Skirt has a close contact design for precise cueing, the Tunnel Skirt™ design alleviates pressure on horse’s spine, and Impact Foam™ seat with narrow twist and broad pocket provides all-day comfort. ErgoBalance™ stirrups and pre-twisted stirrup leathers reduce knee and ankle fatigue while promoting balanced riding. Available in Regular Oil finish (as shown), Walnut, or black.
“If you’re on a budget, but still want a good saddle, the Teton has all the essentials of the Monarch and Wind River, minus a few of the extra features.” Julie Goodnight
